The hygiene and cleaning division encompasses many different segments including cleaners, textile formulators, among others.

Specifically for these segments, Makeni has a line of solubilizing agents, reducing agents, anionic tensoactive agents, wetting and dispersant agents, aqueous acrylic, polyethylene and polypropylene emulsions to produce waxes (high-gloss or polishable), coalescent agents, preservatives, dispersants and opalescents to formulate detergents and disinfectants, sequestering agents, monomers for textile formulations, mineral oil, scouring agents, bleaching and mercerization, calcium carbonate (mineral load), Sodium Hydroxide (caustic soda) etc.
