Established in 1981, Makeni began its operation as an exclusive representative of various multinational companies in Brazil in order to export chemical and petrochemical products. In 1989 it added imports and distribution of raw materials to its portfolio of services.
Despite shifts that caused much market upheaval, one of Makeni’s concerns has always been to be aware and at the forefront of exclusive distribution technology and today it is a market reference for the distribution of processing and raw materials in the domestic market.
Makeni is driven by the desire to directly contribute towards its partners’ business. Thus, throughout the years the company has invested in improvements. Makeni has trained its staff, implemented safety and responsible distribution policies, been awarded certification and made an effort to develop social programs, in addition to maintaining a structure that has been deemed to be a reference in the distribution market.
